Fourth stop: Advertising cube for the special exhibition "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics" makes a stop in Wunsiedel

For the advertising cube of the current special exhibition "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics" at Porzellanikon Selb, the journey continues: "After the previous stops in Selb, Hohenberg and Rehau, we have been asked several times that the cube arouses curiosity about our special exhibition," says Anna Dziwetzki, the museum's director. The fourth stop of the advertising cube is now Wunsiedl's market square. First Mayor of Wunsiedel, Nicolas Lahovnik, is happy to take part in the campaign: "The Porzellanikon is an important institution in our region and we are happy to help introduce the citizens of Wunsiedel to the current special exhibition in Selb."

The mobile cube also reflects the design idea of the special exhibition. It is set up like a city tour, with visitors experiencing the exhibits and stories behind them as if they were strolling through a city, past shops and department stores, churches, industrial plants, museums and much more. "The beautiful examples of architectural ceramics often blend into the background in our hectic everyday lives," explains Dziwetzki. "The advertising cube in city centres in the region makes architectural ceramics more visible again as a new, unknown object in people's everyday lives. Just like the special exhibition in Selb does," says the museum director.

The special exhibition "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics" can be seen at Porzellanikon Selb until 3 October 2022.
