We are looking forward to your visit from the 12 May 2020
Please take note of our hygiene regulations
Face masks covering mouth and nose
For your as well as our protection, all members of staff will wear face masks for mouth and nose. Visitors of the museum are also only admitted when they wear a face mask covering mouth and nose.
Please keep your distance from other visitors in front of individual exhibits, in small exhibition spaces, on the stairs as well as in the lifts. At all of our entrances to the exhibition areas, in lifts and other public spaces, displays will provide information on the max. number of people allowed in the room at the same time. Please also take note of the distance regulations in the areas of the cash point, the museum shops and, of course, the demonstration stations.
Should you show any symptoms of an infectious respiratory disease, you are not allowed to enter the Porzellanikon. Please fully recover first!
Please cough and sneeze into the crook of the arm.
Disinfection and cleanliness are very important to us. This is why we have set up dispensers for hand sanitizer in all bathrooms and at all entrances to our houses. We ask you to use this opportunity to also protect your surroundings. All of our machinery, hand rails as well as toilettes are cleaned following a fixed cleaning cycle.
Our permanent exhibition in Selb is open to visitors, excluding the areas “Weiße Oase – Helmut Drexler” as well as the claymaker’s shop and the locksmith’s shop.
In Hohenberg, all areas of the permanent exhibition, including the special exhibition “Formvollendet – Keramikdesign von Hans-Wilhelm Seitz”, are open to visitors. You are also welcome to visit our museum shops.
