Curator's tour of the special exhibition "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics"


Ceramics and architecture enthusiasts can participate in a curator's tour of the current special exhibition, "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics." The show at Porzellanikon - State Museum of Porcelain, Selb presents the tradition and future of architectural ceramics of facades, sacred buildings, commercial buildings, factories as well as interior architecture and much more on two times 300 square meters.  A total of 80 exhibits from Germany and Europe can be seen in the special exhibition. A special highlight of the exhibition is a virtual walk through the entrance gate of the Paris World Exhibition in 1900. Interested visitors should also not miss the mocha bar with an impressive mural made of Meissen porcelain tiles, which was rescued from the Palace of the Republic in Berlin and can be seen for the first time in an exhibition.
