Family afternoon together at Porzellanikon Selb
On Sunday, 20 August 2023, Porzellanikon - State museum for porcelain, Selb is holding a creative afternoon for all families at 2:30 pm. Both children and adults can get creative together under the motto "Designing tiles". Porcelain tiles offer endless possibilities for embellishing buildings and rooms and can therefore often be seen in cityscapes, houses and flats. Real porcelain artists will first show how tiles are cast and how they are skilfully modelled and painted in a live demonstration. Afterwards, museum visitors of all ages can get hands-on and create their own colourful tile from real porcelain. Whether as an individual work of art or a joint project between family members, there are no limits to creativity.
Price: €3.00 material costs, adults pay an additional €1.00 Sunday admission. Admission is free for children up to the age of 18. The family afternoon takes place every 3rd Sunday of the month with a different theme and is suitable for children aged 6 and over.
