Hohenberg a. d. Eger

TEST AND EXPERIENCE NEW PROGRAMMES

The Porzellanikon - State Museum of Porcelain is currently developing new offers for the Hohenberg a. d. Eger location especially for senior citizens. The porcelain collection is the cultural memory of this region and offers many opportunities to immerse oneself in past times using creative techniques and to discover one's own creativity.

The concept provides for two-and-a-half-hour events with the following components: Short guided tour, group discussion and creative workshop, in between relaxation with coffee and cake. In order to be able to optimally adapt the offers to the wishes and needs of senior citizens, the Porzellanikon is looking for interested people to test the programmes and openly express their opinions about what they like about the concept and the modules and what they consider to be in need of improvement. "The approach of our concepts is very innovative. The feedback from many test persons would be a great support for us. That's why we're looking forward to lively participation," says museum educator Sina Hartmann, who is responsible at Porzellanikon for designing accompanying programmes around the museum's offerings. So if you would like not only to take part in a programme, but also to play an active part in shaping it, please contact us at the following e-mail address sina.hartmann(at)porzellanikon.org or call 09287 / 91800 521.
