Selbling Space Race

What does ceramics have to do with space travel? Ceramic materials are indispensable for many areas of a spaceship because of their extreme properties. They can be very light, very strong and very heat-resistant. We are going on an exciting journey and are not only exploring the world of high-tech ceramics in experiments, but also studying the basics of rocket construction. At the end, the students can try their hand at rocket engineering in small groups and push their constructions far beyond the museum.
