If you've always wondered how a sewage treatment plant works, the afternoon of discovery at Porzellanikon - State Museum for Porcelain, Selb, is just the perfect thing for you. On Sunday, 24 September 2023, at 2:30 pm, young and old explorers can experiment to their heart's content. They will explore the question of what happens to small and large businesses after the toilet has been flushed and how clear, healthy drinking water is produced from used wastewater. There will also be a tour of the current special exhibition "Toilet & Co. - sanitary ceramics from the outhouse to the high-tech toilet", during which participants will learn interesting, funny and bizarre facts about the water closet. Afterwards, everyone can work with different materials and build their own sewage treatment plant. The special exhibition is open until 26 November 2023.
