For the advertising cube of the current special exhibition "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics" at Porzellanikon Selb, the journey continues: "After the previous stops in Selb, Hohenberg and Rehau, we have been asked several times that the cube arouses curiosity about our special exhibition," says Anna Dziwetzki, the museum's director. Museumsdirektorin Anna Dziwetzki und 1. Bürgermeister Michael Abraham der Stadt Rehau mit dem Werbewürfel der Sonderausstellung „More than Bricks!“ auf dem Rehauer Maxplatz.

Seit Dienstag, 19. April 2022 steht der Werbewürfel des Porzellanikon Selb in Rehau und macht Lust auf die neue Sonderausstellung „More than Bricks! Tradition und Zukunft der Architekturkeramik“. „Dies ist schon der dritte Stop unseres Werbewürfels,“ sagt Museumsdirektorin Anna Dziwetzki, „und wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir ihn heute in Rehau auf dem Maxplatz aufstellen konnten“. Vor der Station in Rehau stand der Würfel zuerst in Selb, dann in Hohenberg a.d. Eger. Die Idee eines Stadtrundgangs, auf deren Grundlage auch die Sonderausstellung aufgebaut ist, ist auch die Basis für den Werbewürfel. Seit Montag, 4. April 2022 macht der Werbewürfel des Porzellanikon Selb in Hohenberg a. d. Eger Lust auf die neue Sonderausstellung „More than Bricks! Tradition und Zukunft der Architekturkeramik“. „Unser Werbewürfel macht seinen zweiten Stopp in Hohenberg an der Eger, unweit von unserem Museumsstandort“, freut sich Museumsdirektorin Anna Dziwetzki. Die Sonderausstellung "More than Bricks!" ist wie ein Stadtrundgang gestaltet. So ist die Idee entstanden, mit dem Werbewürfel auf ungewöhnliche Art zu werben und ihn in den Städten der Region zu präsentieren. On the occasion of the new special exhibition "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics" at Porzellanikon - Staatliches Museum für Porzellan, Selb, there will be a curator's tour of the exhibition on Sunday, 10 April 2022, at 2:30 pm. The show presents the tradition and future of architectural ceramics - facades, sacred buildings, commercial buildings, factories as well as interior design and much more - on two times 300 square metres.  A total of 80 exhibits from Germany and Europe are on display in the special exhibition. The current special exhibition "MORE THAN BRICKS! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics" (until 3 October 2022 at Porzellanikon Selb) takes advantage of this to teach even the youngest schoolchildren about the unique role and effect of ceramics in architecture. On two times 300 square metres, the special exhibition "More than Bricks!" is dedicated to the "Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics". It runs at Porzellanikon Selb from 20 March to 3 October 2022. People have been using self-made building materials made of various ceramic materials for over 9,000 years. Ceramics are thus one of the oldest and most diverse building materials in the history of mankind. They were quickly used to create more than just functional buildings.
