Mit einer großen Finissage am Montag, den 3. Oktober 2022 um 14:30 Uhr geht die Sonderausstellung „More than Bricks! Tradition und Zukunft der Architekturkeramik“ im Porzellanikon Selb zu Ende. Als Erinnerung an die Sonderschau zur Architekturkeramik wird ein großes Wandbild aus Porzellan vor der Eingangsfassade des Porzellanikon in Selb enthüllt. Direktorin Anna Dziwetzki ist von der Sonderschau begeistert: „Der Alltagsbezug der Ausstellung hat die Besucher fasziniert. Architekturkeramik ist überall zu sehen. The advertising cube for the current special exhibition "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics" at Porzellanikon Selb does not stop at national borders. Its sixth stop is the historic market square of the city of Cheb, located in the west of the Czech Republic, from 20 June to 3 July 2022. To accompany the current special exhibition "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics", which has been on display at Porzellanikon Selb since March, an "advertising cube" is traveling through our region - now the cube is making a stop in Hof an der Saale. The special exhibition will be on display until October 3, 2022. This is already the fifth stop of the cube, which after Selb, Hohenberg, Rehau and Wunsiedel is now in the Saale city of Hof. Ceramics and architecture enthusiasts can participate in a curator's tour of the current special exhibition, "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics." The show at Porzellanikon - State Museum of Porcelain, Selb presents the tradition and future of architectural ceramics of facades, sacred buildings, commercial buildings, factories as well as interior architecture and much more on two times 300 square meters.  A total of 80 exhibits from Germany and Europe can be seen in the special exhibition. For the advertising cube of the current special exhibition "More than Bricks! Since Tuesday, April 19, 2022, the advertising cube of Porzellanikon Selb has been in Rehau, whetting visitors' appetites for the new special exhibition "More than Bricks! Tradition and Future of Architectural Ceramics". "This is already the third stop of our advertising cube," says museum director Anna Dziwetzki, "and we are very pleased that we were able to set it up today in Rehau on the Maxplatz." The current special exhibition "MORE THAN BRICKS!
