Culture coffee
Trinkets or art in porcelain? Very often porcelain- Figures somewhat disparagingly dismissed as kitschy. In some cases, admittedly, and rightly so. But there is something in most figures, be it people, animals or a combination of both, a very great artistic power. They also report on their time, are mirrors of everyday culture and art history. Together with curator Thomas Miltschus you can take part in the tour the special features and charm of the permanent exhibition of selected porcelain figurines and their backgrounds.
At the subsequent coffee/tea table, there will be an opportunity to exchange ideas with each other and with the curator in a relaxed atmosphere.
